Energy is a Most Graceful Dancer

Energy is the most graceful dancer to behold.

I am convinced more and more that the reason we are so entranced with creative artists, particularly dancers is because they offer a direct mirror into the patterns of energy that move within our bodies, moment to moment. Their play with the external reflects our own subtle, wave-like, internal dancing. Stillness and a feeling of beauty can be directly accessed while observing their graceful flow. 

Watching is fulfilling however becoming the direct experience of sensation is a whole other level of joy. It plucks the person out of the audience and onto the stage of life. The voyeur becomes a real life participant and is no longer content to exist through second-hand concepts. 

My inwards journey began in much the same way. One day I was the observer deriving my pleasure outwardly when grace threw bodily perception into the spotlight as the new stand-in. My days of watching were over. 

There is immense grief in leaving behind old ways. Although sensation doesn't even know mourning. It is too expansive, textured and rich even for that. In fact, when everything seems to fall apart the only remaining thread is the internal, sensory pathway. No matter how stripped bare, while there is a body there is a connection to the clarity of sensation.
